About

The Medical & Counseling Center Reconstruction Project is an initiative by an alumni group to enhance the overall health and wellness experience of students and faculty at STATHS. Our focus is on reconstruction and renovation projects for medical and counseling centers, aiming to transform the current Nurse's Office into a more suitable Medical & Counseling Center, offering a comprehensive range of services for physical and mental well-being, utilizing green technology and sustainable practices. We are a virtual organization with members residing in the US, Canada, UK, and Jamaica. Our project is for a school in Kingston, Jamaica, with a timeline of 24 months and a fundraising goal of US$1,000,000. On our website, you can find information about our project, become a part of our organization, and make financial contributions to support our cause.

Our Vision

“We want to show students all across Jamaica how physical activity and healthy eating can be incorporated into everyday life, especially in light of the data which shows that a half of the student population aged 15 years and over is overweight”, said Minister of Health and Wellness, Dr. the Hon. Christopher Tufton
